Terms & Conditions

Warranty Coverage

HomeSparkle Interior Pvt. Ltd. provides a 5 to 10year warranty on modular kitchens, wardrobes, and storage units from the date of possession, subject to the terms and conditions mentioned below.

Accessories, handles, knobs, and hardware from brands such as Hettich, Häfele, and Blum are covered as per the respective manufacturer’s warranty terms.

HomeSparkle will honor the warranty provided that:

The product supplied and installed by HomeSparkle is properly maintained and used for normal domestic purposes.

The product continues to be owned by the original purchaser.

The product remains at its original installed position and location.

The warranty period has not expired and the product complies with all applicable warranty conditions.

Warranty Exclusions

The HomeSparkle warranty does not cover:

Labour, installation, dismantling, reinstallation, transportation, or other associated costs arising from warranty claims, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Natural wear and tear, fading, deterioration, or damage to finishes and surfaces resulting from normal use and damage from any kind of seepage/leakage issue in house.

Electrical and plumbing fixtures, countertops, appliances, or any other products supplied or installed in conjunction with HomeSparkle cabinetry but not specifically covered under the HomeSparkle warranty.

Damage resulting from improper use, misuse, negligence, rough handling, or use contrary to the instructions provided by HomeSparkle.

Products or components that have been altered, modified, repaired, or tampered with without prior written approval from HomeSparkle.

Damage caused by accidents, extreme temperatures, excessive moisture, continuous exposure to water, leakage, flooding, or high humidity.

Damage caused by harsh, abrasive, acidic, or unsuitable cleaning chemicals.

Normal incidental deterioration such as nicks, cuts, scratches, dents, abrasions, or other marks resulting from regular use.

Any damage arising from use of the product beyond its intended purpose.

Defects and Claims

HomeSparkle shall not be responsible for claims arising from defects in materials or workmanship of products that are not specifically covered under the applicable warranty terms.

Any claim must relate to the products and components supplied by HomeSparkle and covered under this warranty.

Product Specifications

HomeSparkle reserves the right to modify or alter product specifications, materials, finishes, designs, or components as part of its ongoing product evaluation, improvement, and development process.

Such changes shall not constitute a breach of warranty where the replacement product or component provides equivalent or improved functionality.

Scope of Warranty

The scope of the HomeSparkle warranty cannot be altered, extended, changed, or broadened by any employee, representative, contractor, designer, or authorized representative of HomeSparkle unless such modification is expressly confirmed by HomeSparkle in writing.

Reporting of Defects

The customer must notify HomeSparkle by phone or email of any visible defect, damage, or malfunctioning component within 10 days of noticing the same.

Failure to notify HomeSparkle within the stipulated period may result in the claim being excluded from warranty coverage.

Inspection, Repair & Replacement

Upon receiving a warranty claim, HomeSparkle may inspect the concerned product or component.

Based on the inspection, HomeSparkle shall have the sole discretion to determine whether the component should be:

Repaired at the customer’s premises;

Repaired or refurbished at the factory;

Replaced partially; or

Replaced completely.

The decision shall be based on the nature and extent of the defect and the feasibility of repair or replacement.

Liability

HomeSparkle will make reasonable efforts to repair or replace a defective product or component within a reasonable period of time.

HomeSparkle shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or associated loss arising from:

Product defects;

Delays in repair or replacement;

Inconvenience caused during warranty service;

Design-related issues;

Improper application or usage;

Installation-related issues outside the scope of HomeSparkle’s responsibility; or

Any circumstances beyond the reasonable control of HomeSparkle.

In no event shall the total liability of HomeSparkle under this warranty exceed the original purchase price of the affected product or the cost of its replacement, whichever is applicable.

Replacement During Warranty Period

Replacement of any HomeSparkle modular cabinet or component, whether partially or completely, does not restart or renew the original warranty period.

Any replacement component shall remain covered only for the remaining portion of the original warranty period.

Except for components specifically carrying a separate manufacturer’s lifetime warranty, the maximum warranty period for HomeSparkle products shall not exceed:

5/10 years and can be opt for lifetime warranty for modular kitchens.

5/10 years and can be opt for lifetime warranty for modular wardrobes and storage.

The warranty period shall be calculated from the date of possession.

Cancellation & Work Stoppage

Once work has commenced, the project cannot be cancelled without applicable charges.

If the customer requests that partially completed work be stopped or cancelled after commencement, HomeSparkle reserves the right to charge 1.5 times the value of the work completed up to that stage.

The applicable settlement/refund process, wherever applicable, shall be completed within approximately 7 working days, subject to reconciliation of outstanding amounts, materials procured, work completed, and other applicable charges.

Customer Responsibility

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the installed products are used, maintained, and cleaned in accordance with HomeSparkle’s instructions.

Any damage resulting from misuse, negligence, unauthorized modification, improper maintenance, water exposure, excessive moisture, harsh cleaning agents, or use beyond the intended purpose may void the applicable warranty.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

Any dispute, claim, or matter arising out of or in connection with these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Acceptance of Terms

By confirming the HomeSparkle interior project, making payment, or permitting work to commence, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

HomeSparkle reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions from time to time in accordance with its business policies and applicable laws.
